Undead: Grave Guard

Because I'm working on figs that haven't been released yet, I can't pop them up here.

So, to compensate here's a converted Grave Guard I've been working on. The fig is a combination of Dark Elf and Skeleton parts, with a little green stuff for the arm guards to blend in the skeletal hand. The colour scheme is bronze and red/brown. Look out for more of these next year!

Flagellants

These ar part of a larger army I've been working on for some time. The background for the army is Sigmarite, with Sigmarite 'nuns' forming the basis for the army (in place of State Troops) and the rest of the army substituting in Flagellants and Sisters in place of artillery crew etc.

These are part of one of the flagellant units. The central colour scheme is a deep brown/red and tan. To make the flagellants look a lot rougher I've painted dirt and mud on their bare feet and around the edges of their garments. Book pages and scrolls will be all over this army, and the flagellants are no exception.

Stay tuned for more of this army over the coming months: there are plans in motion for a spectacular War Altar to form th e army's centrepiece.

Harlequin Warlock

The Harlequin Warlock has the brightest pattern of all the harlequins. I incorporated more white into the pattern and kepot the diamonds as randomly coloured as possible.

Harlequin 2

The second Harlequin. This one has less patterning and more of the rainbow colouring. I've tried with the lower ribbon s to blend up to green and red from the same yellow.

Harlequin Farseer

The Farseer is painted in harlequin colours. The background is he travels the webway with the Harlequins and has taken on their colours and style.

As with the other Harlequin, the rainbow colouring is the predominant idea.

The weapons are bone: I wanted to create the impression that they are carved from a single piece .

Harlequin 1

The mission statement was bright, with a rainbow colour.The hand is missing so it can be mailed. I've made the mask metallic to stand out from the flat colours of the rest of the figure.

A tip for those painting this figure: paint the cloak completely before attaching the legs or gluiing the figure to its base!

Undead: Undead Bretonnian

This guy is a conversion, again for a campaign. The idea is that he's a dead Bretonnian knight on a spectral steed. I don't often go in for lighting effects, and this one reminded me why: they are extremely time consuming! I used the same Ethereal scheme as on the banshee for the horse, and obviously a zombie head for the conversion!
