The Thing in the Woods

This is a fig I've been waiting to do for some time. To get the flat skin tone I went for a Derivan mid grey and shaded it down with green and highlighted up with a flesh tone.

This one will be used as a stand in Varghulf, so I had to putty over the chaos symbols cut into his flesh, and add some extra fur and the skulls to tie it into the Dire Wolves that are being added to the army.

I kept the skin tones as muted as possible so the bloody mouth and glowing eyes really stand out (I wanted all the focus to be on the 'business end'). For this same reason I kept the fur and claws close to the skin tine too.

Thousand Sons Chaos Lord

A rare chance to do a 40K fig!
I built up the base using spare bits of foamcore and wire to create the concrete rubble.
As you can see, he hads a couple of tiny details to add!

Harlequin Farseer #2

A continuation on the earlier theme of Harlequin Warlocks and Farseers.

The Red Duke

Notorious Bretonnian Vampire the Red Duke.
This figure has had a Bretonnian lance added, some furs around the base of the saddle, and a High Elf sword. The skulls are attached with fuse wire.
Rather than paint himall red, I've gone with a blended brown, using the red sparingly so it would stand out more.

Kohril

Your standard High Elf hero! The mission statement here was to keep the figure as white as possible, so all warm colours were out. Originally he was all white, but it did mean he lost some definition around the cloak. I added some cold blue to define these areas.
The marble was made with a bit of plasticard and a spare HE sprue part.

Sigmarite BSB

This is another addition to the Sigmarite army I've been doing for the last few months. This is the first paper banner I've mounted onto some aluminium, which made it sturdy enough to greenstuff the scrolls and whatnot onto. I'm pretty happy with the result and will be doing all my banners this way from now on!

Eiryss

One of the favourite Mercenaries in the War machine range, I've painted Eiryss with a polar theme.
